Summary
WARDOGS Wiki does not ask you to create an account, does not collect personal information directly, and sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The site loads no third-party fonts, scripts or analytics on page load. The only third-party content is YouTube video thumbnails and embedded players, and those are click-to-play so nothing is loaded from YouTube unless you choose to play a video.
This policy explains how WARDOGS Wiki (“we”, “this site”), published by
hunt-games at wardogs-game.hunt-games.com, handles information about visitors. It applies to
this website only.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly
None, unless you choose to email us. There is no registration, no account system, no newsletter signup, no comment system and no contact form on this site. If you email contact@hunt-games.com, we hold your message and email address for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and use them for nothing else.
Information collected automatically
Like any web server, the hosting infrastructure serving this site processes standard technical request data in order to deliver pages and maintain security. This typically includes IP address, user agent, requested URL, referring URL and timestamp. This is ordinary server operation, not analytics profiling, and we do not use it to build a profile of you or to identify you.
Cookies
WARDOGS Wiki sets no cookies of its own. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no tracking pixels placed by this site. Because we set no non-essential cookies, there is no consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.
The one exception is under your control: if you click a video thumbnail to play an embedded YouTube video, YouTube may then set cookies. See below.
Embedded YouTube videos
Some pages include official WARDOGS trailers and developer videos from Team17's YouTube channel. These are implemented as click-to-play:
- Until you click, the page shows a static thumbnail image and no YouTube player is loaded.
- Thumbnails are served from this site, not from YouTube. Loading a page that contains a video therefore sends no request to YouTube at all.
- When you click play, the player loads via
youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which limits cookie use compared to the standard embed. - At that point YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the playback. We have no control over and no access to any data YouTube collects.
If you never click a video, no YouTube player and no player-related cookies are loaded.
Analytics and advertising
This site does not currently run third-party analytics or display advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated with an effective date before any such service is deployed, and any consent requirements that apply in your jurisdiction will be honoured at that time.
Third-party links
This wiki links to external sites including Steam, Team17, BULKHEAD, YouTube and the official WARDOGS community. Following those links takes you to services with their own privacy policies, which govern what happens there. We have no control over them and are not responsible for their practices. External links are marked and open in a new tab.
Children
This site is a general-audience gaming reference and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data relating to you.
EEA and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You have the right to request access to personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
In practice, since this site has no accounts and collects nothing directly, the only personal data we are likely to hold about you is an email you sent us. The lawful basis for processing server request data is legitimate interest in delivering and securing the website.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Email contact@hunt-games.com with your request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Security and retention
The site is served over HTTPS. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for operational and security purposes. Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle the enquiry it relates to. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page always shows when it was last revised. Material changes — particularly the introduction of analytics or advertising — will be reflected here before the change takes effect.
